Do-it-yourself postage

clockwise: [the Rosenbergs, Linda Tripp, [your face here], Slobodan Milosevich]

The U.S. Postal Service has a pilot program for making your own personalized stamps. It's as easy as uploading your image of choice, editing the design, and placing the order online. It costs about twice the regular price of a stamp; and the image must be approved.

The Smoking Gun tried an experiment recently. They sent various objectionable images, some of which were censored, including mug shots of Lee Harvey Oswald, Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, and Unabomber Ted Kaczynski. Above are a few of the notorious faces approved to grace U.S. postage stamps.

If you want to order your own do-it-yourself postage stamps, go to Stamps.com.
